Four South Staffordshire green ground enamel salt-cellars
circa 1770
Each of circular form on three pad feet, two forming a pair and painted with coloured flowers in white ground cartouches reserved in raised gilt scrolls, with additional raised decoration between, the two other salts of paler green painted with flowers or figures and animals similarly reserved to the above, all gilt-metal mounted
The first pair 2 3/8in. (6cm.) diam., the others 2½in. (6.4cm.) diam. (4)
