The rectangular section case raised on bracket feet, with inscription to the top J.L.S. 1924, the engine-turned and silvered dial with conforming centres to the Arabic chapter and alarm rings, with retail signature MAPPIN & WEBB, blued steel moon hands, the twin barrel movement with silvered platform to the cut bimetallic balance with lever escapement, strike/repeat/alarm on gong to the backplate numbered 243 -- 4½in. (11.5cm.) high; with green leather travel case (lacking handles)
