Each of baluster form on three later gilt-metal foliate bud feet, the sides painted with two landscape vignettes of couples with their animals in landscape settings with water, each scene reserved in raised gilt scroll cartouche with foliage and flowers between, each detachable cover with a herdsman driving his cow in similar reserve, with aperture for spoon, baluster finial and engraved gilt-metal mount
