Of upright form and oval section, the sides painted with a gentleman playing the flute to a seated lady and shepherd lovers with their flocks, the hinged cover with posies of flowers, all reserved in raised gilt scrolls and with further raised decoration between, the complete contents comprising scissors, folding knife, ruler, ivory slip and four other pieces, with decorated gilt-metal mounts
