An Empire bronze and ormolu striking mantel clock, first quarter 19th century
The case with figure of a classical maiden bathing a baby in a bath of roses, with flaming brazier to the other side, on shaped base raised on elongated toupie feet, the white enamel Roman dial (some hairline cracks) signed Henry à Abbeville, later blued steel moon hands, the twin barrel movement with silk suspension and countwheel strike on bell -- 14¾in. (37.5cm.) high

On the Thursday 14 September a transfer and administration charge of £18.50 per furniture lot, and £9.25 per non-furniture lot; and a storage charge of £3.20 per furniture lot and £1.60 per non-furniture lot per day; will come into effect. These charges are payable to Cadogan Tate and are subject to VAT and an insurance surcharge.
Please note: All charges due to Cadogan Tate must be paid at the time of collection from their warehouse. Only payment by cash, credit card or bankers draft will be accepted.
