The drum-shaped case clasped within drapery and supported on the wings of Cupid, on yellow marble plinth with cornucopia swag mount, the dial with white enamel Roman chapter ring and plain centre, gilt moon hands, the twin barrel movement with modern platform escapement and strike on bell, stamped BALL BLACK & CO NEW YORK on the back plate; case second quarter 19th century, dial and movement later and adapted to case -- 16¼in. (41cm.) high

Lots will be available for collection following transfer to Cadogan Tate from the Friday 8 September and every week-day from 9.00a.m. to 5.00p.m.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE WILL BE NO CHARGE TO PURCHASERS WHO COLLECT THEIR LOTS WITHIN ONE WEEK OF THIS SALE.
On the Thursday 14 September a transfer and administration charge of £18.50 per furniture lot, and £9.25 per non-furniture lot; and a storage charge of £3.20 per furniture lot and £1.60 per non-furniture lot per day; will come into effect. These charges are payable to Cadogan Tate and are subject to VAT and an insurance surcharge.
Please note: All charges due to Cadogan Tate must be paid at the time of collection from their warehouse. Only payment by cash, credit card or bankers draft will be accepted.
