The mock hood with breakarch top and turned columns, with floral inlaid opening trunk door, on stepped plinth, the dial with silvered chapter ring and matted centre, signed on a plaque in the arch W. THORNHILL & CO. 144 NEW BOND ST. LONDON W., rear door detached, the French twin barrel movement with twin barrel movement and platform lever escapement, strike on gong to the bacplate stamped for W.T. & CO. -- 18¼in. (46.5cm.) high
