The hood with swan neck pediment (damages) and plain outset brass capped columns, the short triple point Gothic trunk door with ebonised banding (loss to top moulding) and flanked by chamfered angles (veneers lacking to both angles), with panel below and conforming panel to the plinth also with chamfered angles and raised on bracket feet, the 13in. white dial with painted rocking figures of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden to the arch, with floral spandrels and birds to the centre, subsidiary seconds and arch date aperture, retouched signature Winsanley Beaumaris, cut steel diamond hands, with dotted minute track marked at intervals of 5, a falseplate to the four pillar rack striking movement with anchor escapement; later seatboard, possibly associated -- 85¼in. (216cm.) high

This lot must be cleared by 1.00p.m. on Thursday 7 September.
