Naturaleza Muerta

The present lot is a wonderful example of Záraga's style in 1918. The contrast of colors--between the oranges and yellows, the inclusion of a flute--the artist's sudden interest in including the influence of music in his works--and even the important reference of a book--hinting to his knowledge of current Cubist movements--are all present and significant allusions that direct back to his style of that same year.
