Oblong and with curved ends, on six detachable plinth feet, four standing putto and two seated putto above, the incurved sides with shell and husk border, pierced with strapwork, rosettes, husks and foliage and applied with lion's masks hung between the putti with berried laurel swags, each long side applied with oval scroll and foliage cartouche engraved with a crest, the plain liner with two drop-ring handles, engraved twice with a crest, marked on body, liner and feet, the liner 'GOLDSMITHS AND SILVERSMITHS COMPANY LTD. 112 REGENT STREET.
