A George IV silver four-piece tea and coffee service
maker's mark of Joseph Angell, London, 1824, the sugar bowl 1823
Each part-fluted vase-shaped and on spreading circular foot, with leaf-capped scroll handles and with rose and foliage borders, comprising a coffee pot, teapot, two-handled sugar bowl and a cream jug, the coffee pot and teapot each with curved spout, hinged domed cover and foliate finial, each engraved with a crest, marked on bodies, finial and coffee pot cover, the teapot cover unmarked, with associated pair of Victorian sugar tongs, 1868
