Vase-shaped and on spreading circular foot with stylised foliage borders, the partly-fluted body chased with a band of acanthus foliage on a matted ground and with two leaf-capped reeded loop handles chased with husks, the detachable spool-shaped cover chased with a band of drapery swags and with wheatsheaf finial, the body engraved with presentation inscription, marked on body and cover
