The candlesticks each on spreading circular base cast and chased with a band of shells, scrolls and foliage on a matted ground, the fluted baluster stems with guilloche knop and a band of lion's masks and strapwork, with spool-shaped sockets, the detachable scroll branches each terminating in a flower-shaped drip-pan and similar socket, with central flame finial, marked on bases and branches
