the porringer and stand London, 1663, maker's mark H., the cover London, 1660, C.S. possibly Christopher Shaw
The stand on trumpet-shaped foot and with broad border chased with birds, a lion, a unicorn, daffodils, tulips, flowers and foliage, the porringer similarly chased and with two scroll handles each with female head finial, the cover similarly chased and with baluster finial, the stand and porringer engraved with a coat-of-arms within plume mantling, marked on stand, foot, body and cover
The stand 14in. (36cm.) diam., the porringer and cover 7in. (17.8cm.)
