The marquetry case with rectangular plinth, the rectangular trunk door with a glazed circular lenticle and inlaid with an urn, the hood with turned columns supporting the frieze inlaid with flower sprays, the domed top inlaid with further sprays, the square brass dial with circular silvered chapter ring, bearing the signature JN.
