The sister car to the Tiger Bubble Top in the sale, this is a Cabriolet version, and just four serial numbers apart. Again, therefore, it is one of the seven Tigers originally allocated to the Canadian distributor in Ontario. 'Distributor' is mentioned in the loosest possible way as there was no showroom, only a second floor office and the new, unregistered cars were kept at the distributor's house and a local warehouse! Sales, in fact, were handled by local garages and shops, so that basically anyone could become a dealer and 'give it a go'!

This rare, original Cabriolet was also firstly and formerly owned by the enthusiastic, now elderly, gentleman who first owned the Tiger Bubble Top in the sale. Over decades this collector tracked down all seven Canadian Tigers, eventually ending up with four; each car was completely re-furbished and subsequently driven on a regular basis. The indicated mileage now is just over 23,000 and, again, is believed to be a true indication of the car's total original driven miles. The condition now is outstanding, having been completely restored during Mr. Weiner's ownership. As with the other restored cars in the collection, the attention to detail is of the highest order with correct insignia badging, Hella headlamps and authentic factory gauges with optional dashboard clock. The Tiger has an Ontario title certificate.

As they said at the time, the Tg 500 fulfills your wishes! They are extremely rare and desirable and should make an excellent centrepiece for any microcar collector or enthusiast.
