Lot Essay

It has not been possible to trace a watercolour with the same title exhibited in this year. In 1834 Copley Fielding exhibited a watercolour entitled Ullswater, Cumberland, no. 88 and Derwentwater, Cumberland, no. 319. In 1833 he also exhibited a watercolour entitled The Cumberland Mountains from near Kirk Oswald, no. 152.
