The stepped case on four gilt metal paw feet, the bow sided platform with a spelter group of two classically draped maidens, their hands held aloft to support a globe (lacking), a putto seated at their feet holding an hourglass and fruit, on a naturalistically cast base, the twin barrel movement with strike on bell -- 27½in. (70cm.) high
