A Victorian oak and inlaid pedestal library table
In the Gothic taste, the crossbanded top with a moulded edge and rounded corners inlaid with a panel of tooled black leather, having a pedestal cupboard below, enclosed by an ebony strung and moulded panel door applied with a brass initial cypher, probably P with entwined S, with similar panels to the reverse and sides between canted angles with incised ornament, on projecting plinth base with bun feet
