A Potsdam-Berlin engraved goblet Circa 1710
Engraved by Gottfried Spiller in Matt und Klarschnitt with a children's bacchanal (Kinderbacchuszug), the generous bowls decorated with a continuous round of festive children flanked by a tree, the lower part with Tiefschnitt acanthus leaves, the upper part with a border of lozenges above dots, with balustroid facetted stem above a domed foot en suite with acanthus leaves, and an extra cover (criselling)
