The funnel bowl engraved with a tied wreathed medallion inscribed; Vreedenhof, underneath a band of running foliage, the lower part cut with oblique roundels, above a balustroid stem with two knops, on shaped foot
Circa 18 cm. (7 1/8 in.) high

Lot Essay

Vreedenhof was a country house of the "Silver Age" Amsterdam élite on the river Vecht, between Weesp and Utrecht.
