Circa 1775, variously impressed with lower and upper case marks and painted with numerals in blue
The shaped body decorated with the "onion" motif and applied in slight relief with combed motifs enhanced in blue enamel, the covers surmounted with shells and large acorn finials, with faintly gilt edges comprising;
A two-handled oval pedestal tureen, with twisted rope handles, the domed cover en suite, with a nude maiden seated on an equestrian seacreature, with upper case mark, 34 cm. (13 3/8 in.) wide
