A Clermont-Ferrand blue and white quadrupod armorial tureen, cover and stand
Circa 1740, marked FL in blue
The shaped oval two-handled tureen decorated with foliate swags suspended from scrolling foliage alternating stylized flowers, the handles shaped as animal's heads, the shaped domed cover with a crowned coat of arms, flanked by two lion supporters, the border decorated in the Moustiers-style and with bun finial, the shaped stand en suite
The stand 48 cm. (18 7/8 in.) wide
