A Dutch Delft blue and white hexagonal pastoral garniture
(Kaststel) second half 18th Century, marked for De Porceleyne Klaauw
Decorated with a gentleman promenading along a rivershore, a sailing boat and a farm to the background, within a rocaille trellised cartouche in slight relief, comprising: a pair of beaker vases (25 cm., 9 7/8 in. high) and three baluster vases and similarly decorated domed covers with parrot-pecking-berry finials (35 cm., 13 3/4 in. high) (one baluster vase and cover later replacements) (5)
