A Victorian Coalbrookdale cast iron seat
Third quarter 19th century
The arched back rest pierced with trefoil and fan-paterae motifs to the central panel, flanked by outer panels of foliate ornament, the scroll armrest panels modelled with further foliate scrolling ornament, with conforming apron below the wooden slatted seat, stamped No 90929, and with diamond design patent registration stamps for 20th April, 1853
