Maker's mark of Hyacinthe-Prosper Bourg, Paris, 1824-1830
Vase-shaped, on a square base with acanthus band and four foliate bracket feet, the circular foot with rosettes and bands of acanthus, the cut-glass vase with everted openwork scroll rim and two upswept leaf-clad handles, the slightly domed cover with laurel band and surmounted by a waterleaf and anthemion calyx with a berried laurel ring handle, the cover engraved with stylized initials, marked under and on base, foot, lower body, rim, and cover
