The foot-mount chased with a band of wheat and hops and with acanthus foliage above, with leaf-capped scroll handle, oval foliage topped thumbpiece inset with an enamel painting of an Indian elephant, the hinged slightly domed cover with vine finial, the tapering body held by scroll-edged straps
