Tapering cylindrical and on moulded rim foot, the scroll handle with shield-shaped terminal, the hinged slightly domed cover chased with fluted central boss and spirally-fluted band, with reeded rim and shaped front, the lower part of the body similarly chased with spiral flutes, the body engraved with plume and foliage mantling and later with a coat-of-arms, marked on body, cover and handle
