A gold lacquer three tiered kogo
and cover, decorated in takamakie with flowerheads and scrolling foliage on a nashiji ground, on shaped bracket feet -- 3¼in. (8.2cm) wide; a brown lacquer circular kogo and cover inset in aogai with a grasshopper -- 2.7/8in. (7.3cm) diam.; and a brown lacquer rectangular kogo and cover with canted corners, decorated in hiramakie with a toad and flowers -- 2¾in. (7.1cm) wide, 19th Century, (some old wear and minor chips).
