the shakudo nanako plate depicting a mythical sea dragon on the crest of a wave; a shibuichi nanako fuchi with stylised peony; a further shibuichi fuchi depicting a bearded artist with brush in one hand; and three bronze plaques, one with a tiger beside bamboo, details in gilt; another with a man holding an axe beside circular drums, details in gilt, copper and silver; and a plaque with an incised scrolling dragon above waves -- 2in. (5.2cm.) max. diam., 19th Century, (minor wear and rubbing, last plaque with losses).
