A famille rose mandarin pattern pear shaped hot water jug
with moulded handle and spout, painted and gilt with shaped panels of figures at leisure before pavilions overlooking mountainous river landscapes, all on a ground reserved with smaller sepia landscape panels, silver mounted with an animal head spout and domed cover with figural finial modelled as a dog pulling at the robes of an Oriental man -- 10in. (25.4cm.) high overall, the porcelain 18th Century, the silver hallmarked London 1845-46, (handle restored).
