Windsor from 'Rafts', Eton College

'Rafts' is still the name given by Etonians to their boathouses beside the Thames.

Henry Jamyn Brooks is perhaps best known for his large canvas, Private View of the Old Masters Exhibition, Royal Academy, 1888, now hanging in the National Portrait Gallery, London.
