A seated griffin facing right, its enormous wings outstretched, the tips nearly meeting at the back below the handle, the griffin's neck with red spots, the banded wings with red spots on black above a broad band of red, a thin band of red spots and incised feathers below, with a lotus on either side of the head, rosettes in the field, a large rosette on the base and mouth, tongues on the neck and a row of dots on the rim
