A LARGE ETRUSCAN BRONZE FIGURE OF HERAKLES
circa 3rd century b.c.
The nude hero standing with the right leg advanced, the skin of the Nemean lion worn over his head and tied around his neck, the legs and tail draped over his left arm, presenting the apples of the Hesperides in his extended left hand, the right arm, missing below the elbow, probably once brandishing his club, the lion's skin with cast and incised details
