Preserving a standing male figure wearing a tunic and pallium, a purple band (augustus clavus) over the left shoulder (a designation worn by the upper ranks of Roman officials), wearing low boots (calcei), with short hair and a closely-cropped beard, his right hand held up to his chest, holding a scroll in his hand, gazing with piercing eyes, a garland above, his shadow on the groundline below, inscribed for SALVIVS CAESARISA
