AN AKKADIAN DIORITE CYLINDER SEAL
circa 2254-2154 b.c.
Engraved with an enthroned deity in a horned cap on a boat, three birds (geese?) below, the feet of the god on the back of one bird, a seated man to the left operating the rudder, two small birds above, a bearded man to the right propels the boat with a pole, to the right of the ship a bearded deity wearing a horned cap, grasping the hand of a worshipper bearing a goat, a bird, a branch and a fish to the right of the boat, a crescent, an arrow and a bird (?) to the left, three stars and a crescent above the boat
