Crossbanded in satinwood and banded overall with boxwood and ebonised lines, the moulded rectangular cornice above a triglyph frieze and a pair of glazed doors enclosing a material-lined interior with three later glass shelves, the moulded inverted breakfront base above a pair of pleated green silk-backed doors, enclosing four graduated long drawers, on square tapering collared legs, with two original pine and mahogany-fronted shelves, fitted for electricity, the later top lock stamped 'V.R. PATENT'
