A REGENCY BRASS-MOUNTED MAHOGANY AND SATINWOOD BONHEUR DU JOUR
Inlaid overall with boxwood, ebonised and satinwood lines, the three-quarter baluster gallery on column supports above a shelf and a cylinder-bureau, enclosing a sliding writing-surface with ratcheted leather-lined panel and three arched recesses surrounded by four small drawers and five simulated drawers, and above a mahogany-lined drawer and a concave-fronted tambour cupboard, on square tapering legs with brass caps and castors, the metalwork apparently original, the drawer inscribed in pencil '26½ x 17¾ * HARRINGTON', restorations
