Each with Killarney inlaid moulded rectangular top with a central cartouche depicting a cottage, a castle and a church respectively within a chequer-banded rectangular border and a further foliate outer border, on ring-turned trestle-ends joined by a stretcher, on scroll feet, restorations, the middle and largest table with replaced feet and stretchers
The largest 29¼ in. (74 cm.) high; 24 in. (61 cm.) wide; 15 in. (38 cm.) deep

Lot Essay

Killarney work, naive elaborately-inlaid furniture and smaller items made was made for the tourist trade using bog oak, arbutus and other coloured woods. They often included pictorial views of local Killarney buildings and attractions (B. Austen, Tunbridge Ware and Related European Decorative Woodwares, London, rev. ed., 1992, pp. 175-193).
