The later central cabochon sapphire weighing 21.19 carats to a cushion-cut diamond openwork scroll surround with diamond collet surmount and garland suspending a later South Sea cultured pearl drop approximately 14.3mm. diameter, mounted in silver and gold, circa 1880, 7.0cm. wide
With certificate 29546 dated 25/10/1996 from The Swiss Gemmological Institute stating that the sapphire is of Burmese (Myanmar) origin with no indications of thermal treatment
