Early Anson & Deeley action, patent No. 868, the action-bar with removable hinge-pin and enlarged hinge-pin bosses, the standing-breech carved with an enlarged fleur-de-lys motif, best bouquet and scroll engraving, figured replacement stock (pinned at the head) with semi-pistolgrip, cast-on for the left shoulder, rebarrelled by H.J. Hussey
Weight 6lb. 13½oz., 14 1/8in. stock, 30in. barrels, approx. 3/8 & full choke, 2½in. chambers, nitro reproof (right barrel-thickness marginal)
