Blade Runner won the Hugo Award for Best Dramatic Presentation in 1983 (beating out E.T.). In a poll of members of the 1992 World Science Fiction Convention, Blade Runner was named as the third most favorite Science Fiction film of all time (behind Star Wars and 2001: A Space
Odyssey).
