Mid-18th Century
Each upholstered à chassis, the cartouche-shaped padded back and serpentine seat covered in coral silk, the moulded seat back centred by a stylised shell, and decorated with flowers and foliage, above down-swept arms, on cabriole legs and stylised scrolled feet, redecorated, possibly with traces of earlier decoration, the seat-rail of one with printed label, 'ORLANDO PETRENI ARREDAMENTI ARTISTICI FIRENZE' (2)
