A PAIR OF VENETIAN WALNUT PRIE-DIEUS
Mid-18th Century
Each with later shaped Sicilian Jasper inset top above a shaped frieze centred by pierced shelves above a C-scroll cabriole and cabochon support, on a shaped and lobed platform with waved apron centred by a pierced shell, on cabriole legs and scrolled feet, the top of one with paper label inscribed in ink 'Gatti Casazza No. 33-', both platforms with restored breaks, both sides of one lacking carved elements
