A LATE LOUIS XVI ORMOLU MANTEL CLOCK
Inlaid overall with gilt dark blue enamel roundels, the circular enamel dial with roman chapters surmounted by a vase of flowers, above a stepped plinth with pierced central oval and flanked to each side by an upspringing acanthus scroll, on lion paw feet and a white marble rectangular base, centred by a musical trophy, on turned feet, the dial inscribed 'Cronier Jeune Rue de la Monaie No 6', with possibly associated pendulum, replacements to enamel roundels, the blue roundels surrounding pendulum aperture possibly replaced
