Self Portrait with Saskia
etching, second state (of three), a good impression, the scratches through Rembrandt's hand and across Saskia's breast still visible, with wide margins, with a spot of foxing just to the right of Rembrandt's collar, other fox marks in the left and upper margin, an area of pale staining to the lower left sheet edge extending into the image as far as Rembrandt's hand, a soft crease extending diagonally from the left sheet edge to the top of Saskia's shoulder, one other across the upper left corner, other more minor creases elsewhere, laid to the mount at the left sheet corners
