etching with traces of drypoint, 1648, fourth state (of five), before the removal of the verses, watermark Foolscap, a very good impression of this state, with narrow margins, a tiny glue spot (?) to the left of the stairs, a short section at the reverse of upper left sheet edge slightly thin, an old, faded pen and ink inscription on the reverse, otherwise in very good, fresh condition
