colour reproductions, one with hand-colouring (presumably by another hand) and one original drawing, 1946, on Auvergne, watermark Richard-de-Bas, title, text, justification, list of contents and the complete set, the justification signed in pen and blue ink by the artist and author, with an additional sketch by Chagall below his signature, copy number L from the edition of 25 numbered from A to Y (the total edition was 361), the separate drawing signed in pen and black ink, some discolouration and scattered foxing, loose in paper wrappers with title, author's and artist's names printed in blue and black on front and spine, within dark blue paper-covered slipcase with design on front, generally in good condition; and two others from the second edition, published in 1950, one in the original French, the other in an English translation, both signed and dated by the artist on the title page; and L.S. Senghor, Lettres d'Hivernage Editions du Seuil, 1973, copy number 609 from the total edition of 2153, the title page signed in blue felt-tip by Chagall, inscribed '1974', generally in good condition(books)
