"This iron box for example... Nobody can see it and there is no special atmosphere. So there is a problem for people who cannot reconstruct the meaning of the object. There needs to be a lot of action around it, with fire, warmth, with light, with discussions, interaction with the viewers. But that's the special characteristics of my work."(in: Uwe M.
