woven with eight peony roundels incorporating auspicious symbols above a mountain and sea-wave border, the borders and wide horseshoe cuffs of dark blue-ground kesi woven with flowers, fruit, butterflies and bats amongst cloud scrolls, woven with gilt detail throughout, trimmed with kinran binding, second half of the 19th century
